Parent’s Role:
We encourage parents to be involved in their child’s basketball experience.
Parent support is important in helping children succeed. We do ask that parents
be involved by supporting children with hi-five’s and words of encouragement and
refrain from coaching from the sidelines. Children can only focus on one set of
instructions at a time, and our instructors need to be the only coach during
their class. The best way for parents to help is to support and encourage the
child to listen to their coach.
